The Short

Jason Bax was the spokesman for InternetMarketing.com & MarketingTips.com, generating over $3 million in sales using a unique blend of education, entertainment & ‘social selling.’  He has represented brands like Dell, Nissan, Fisher Price, Hasbro, Purina etc… on TV, consulted 80+ web start-ups, founder & curator of Business Unusual, and has spoken to audiences on 3 continents.

Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management, MBA in Information Technology *Drop-out

The Long

After enduring 3-years of study in pre-medicine Jason Bax had a “crisis of overwhelming boredom” and switched to business, completing a commerce degree in entrepreneurial management with a minor in Asian studies from Royal Roads University, Canada’s former naval military college.

While working at a venture capital firm as the resident ‘whipping boy’ Bax noticed ‘the old boys club’ ignore ideas from the young unless they are talking technology…then they stroked big, fat checks. So, Bax left to pursue an MBA in Information Technology, dropping out halfway to chase bubbles, unicorns and pots of gold in the Dot Bomb…

He joined web start-up, Dreamweavers, to help build the top online wedding vendor directory (of all the unlikely markets) & was at the forefront of the pay-per-click advertising model.

After the bubble burst, Bax hooked up with one of the world’s top search engine experts to learn the ‘dark arts’ of ranking websites on top of Google.

When internet marketing pioneer Corey Rudl and his company asked him to join their consulting department he jumped at the chance becoming a senior adviser, consulting over 80+ web start-ups.
